Derma silk was one of the best selling anti-aging creams of 2014, so I decided to see what set it off. This lifting, firming and sculpting cream isn’t prepared employing any revolutionary elements. Using the well-established ingredients Dermasilks hype can be justified by already familiar vitamins, plant extracts, amino acids, and powerful anti-oxidants, helping rebuild volume where volume is lost by reason of age, like under the eyes and cheeks. Something peculiar causes it to impress as reviews for 2014 are higher above average. Lets see if it can keep the pace this year.

2. Spry White, Teeth Whitening Kit

Spry teeth whitening kit is a fast acting system that requires just 4 applications to achieve the proclaimed results. Most whitening kits require several weeks of application in order to achieve seeming whitening, so just 4 hours over the course of 4 days seems like a pretty good deal. Due to the intensity of the formula, with just one application, a difference in hue of the teeth is visible. The system is suitable for those with sensitive teeth and gums.

3. Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

This is a lightweight, thin and non-greasy daily cream with necessary daily sunscreen. Passing as an anti-aging cream for not only SPF, but also the antioxidants and vitamin E it contains. Due to grease free texture it absorbs fast. Neutrogena has a very light tint, which made me skeptical at first as I wasn’t sure it wouldn’t make my skin tone mismatch that of my body, and maybe leave a blotched skin tone. The tint turned out to be sheer, hence suitable for my skin tone, and blends in well. I am “fair”, but its sheerness should be suitable for darker skin tones as well. There is nothing here that makes it stand out from the rest, but the price and the fast absorbing texture makes it a cream worth at least one purchase.

4. Sibu Beauty Omega 7 Pure

Omega 7 Pure is a supplement that contains over 500 mg Omegas 7 in one serving, which is more than most Omegas 7 supplements can offer. “Pure” stands for the purity of this supplement, which contains no additives of any kind, not even water. It’s made from sea buckthorn berry and the potent Omega 7. Omega 7 Pure benefits skin, hair and nails, as well as the rest of the body. Sibu report they control hand harvesting of the buckthorn berries to endure its purity and potency. This supplement requires refrigeration after opening.

5. Tree Hut Dry Oil Mist

Dry Oil Mist is an unusual product that I would recommend using on weekends or on vacation. Keep in mind that oil will make skin glow, especially under the sun, as well as wearing a lot of clothing over it wouldn’t make much sense. However, oils are my favorite for hydrating thirsty skin and when it comes as a spray with SPF - that’s just hard to pass on. It’s suitable for sunbathing, although I never recommend spending the time that is required for a tan, under the harmful, aging sun. Dry Oil Mist contains organic oil like Shea butter, Raspberry oil, Macadamia oil, Safflower Oil, Jojoba Oil and Aloe. There are ups and downs to this product, but the intent is nourishing and altogether favorable, minus the possible urge to tan in it.

6. Physicians Formula Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I picked these pads for their size and quantity. This compact jar holds a whole 60 presoaked pads, which are also conveniently thin and maintain the perfect amount of remover for a single application. I favor small presoaked removers over any sheets/towelletes most commonly displayed on the local shelves. A word of warning however - these are not for waterproof make up. They will not remove any tough stains but are the handiest when it comes to swiping away any excess makeup here and there. They contain fragrance but don’t irritate sensitive eyes.

7. Kiss My Face Hold Up Styling Mousse

Kiss My Face is a natural ingredient based, animal cruelty free brand. This mousse is for lifting, styling and volumizing hair of all types and styles. It comes with vitamins and antioxidants that are often stripped of, but much needed for hair just as much as for our skin. Although not blow-dry absolute, it can minimize frizz, perhaps more for some than others, depending on the extent of the frizz. The absence of chemicals is undeniably beneficial for health and strength of hair in the long run.
